Welcome to St John the Baptist, Crowthorne
This time of year is a time for remembering. On November 5th, at 6pm, there is a specials service to remember loved ones who have died and to light a candle in their memory. All are welcome to this service.
On Sunday 12th November, we have the Remembrance Service, shared with the British Legion. This will include a minute's silence at the Lych Gate at 11am.
The Church has a special time of preparation for Christmas, called Advent. This starts on December 3rd. Each week for four weeks we light a new candle on the Advent Wreath as we prepare anew for the coming of Jesus.
Details of all the other events can be found on the front page of this site.
St John's News is available for downloading from this site (see Documents for downloading, or the front page) and details of all these events are advertised on this site.
Details of the services for this week can be found in the menu on the left of this page. All of these are open to all and you will be very welcome to join us. If you like to be quiet, we suggest that you come to the 8am service. The 10am service caters for all ages, with music, and Sunday School. Take your pick. If you would like to just come and see the Church, it is open from 9am until 3pm Mondays-Saturdays during term time.
