The installation of the Audio Visual System is virtually complete. There are a few further items yet to be completed, such as the installation of a screen for the organist once the organ refurbishment has been completed.
This system has been designed to provide all the functionality requested by the PCC. It is controlled by a tablet which has been programmed specifically to meet our requirements with a minimum of intervention. So, for example, all the microphones and speakers can be switched on to work in the Church and the hall for a normal Sunday service by pressing a single button. We also have a new free-standing PA system which will be used for the first time at the Remembrance Service.
The focus now shifts to training more people to operate the system. It is designed to be available for any Church group. Ken Perrett and James Laverick are happy to provide training and support for anyone who would like to make use of the system.
We have a new church laptop which is available for use with the system. Please send a message to the support email if you would like to make use of this.
