London Marathon 2024 completed! It was an excellent day – huge crowds lining all 26 miles of the route and 50,000 plus runners. After getting a bit chilly at the Blackheath start line, I was soon into the running groove and actually enjoyed the whole event. The music, bands and cheering spectators really does encourage you. Enjoyed seeing the sights of London as I went and going over Tower Bridge was the most memorable. My training helped me keep a steady pace and finish in a time of 4 hours 4 minutes and 32 seconds – quite a bit quicker than I expected.
