The Green Team is a new team/group at St. John’s.
Some of us went to a couple of events last weekend (June 2023)
On Saturday we went to a diocesan event called “Equipping Churches to Care for Creation”. This was held at All Saints, Wokingham. We heard from several speakers about what their Churches are doing to improve the environment round them.
Then on Sunday afternoon there was a meeting of the Green Teams in the Sonning Deanery. This was held at St. James Finchamstead. It was very encouraging to hear what others are doing.
Our team is keen to hear from anyone with Ecco ideas/ tips. Small things you do that reduce energy usage or reduce waste in the kitchen or elsewhere.
