The Mothers’ Union has worked in collaboration with the Clewer Initiative, set up by the Church of England, to raise awareness of modern day slavery.
It is a shocking statistic that there are 4380 people in the Oxford diocese who are victims of this practice.
The display on the church foyer was created by the MU in the diocese and some of the 1460 links were knitted by one of our members. It is passed from branch to branch to highlight this evil practice in our midst.
